DIY Chanel Perfume iphone Case

May 27, 2014 5:22 pm

I’m eternally inspired by Chanel and basically everything they do. Just like my DIY Chanel perfume clutch, I saw the Chanel perfume iPhone case (below) and knew it was DIY time!

Tools Needed

 clear iPhone case

clear beads –One large bead and a small flat bead (I found mine in the craft section of  Walmart)

 laminating squares

 acrylic glue

 a clamp and scissors

label template

1. Take your acrylic glue and bond one large bead with one smaller flat bead, you can clamp these together or just let them dry without touching them. Let dry for at least an hour.

2. Once dry, glue these to the top of your clear iPhone case.  Hold it in place for a few minutes or until  the glue is dry and secure. Set it aside and let the glue dry for at least 12 hours before you start to use it.

3. Print and cut out a perfume label, you can download the one I used or make your own!

4. Using self laminating strips (you could even use clear packing tape) laminate the back of the label and cut excess a few mm from the label edge.

5. Stick the label to the inside of the iPhone case and press down edges until it’s secure.

And you’re done!!!

  • Wow! I *love* this! I know you were considering the Chanel clutch sale too back in Jan, did that ever happen? Because this is extra fabulous! Great work, you make DIY so easy! Also, have you seen Bill Cunningham’s NYC take on this trend? http://www.nytimes.com/2014/05/25/fashion/Bill-Cunningham-chanel-accessories.html?_r=0

    So fun!

Bons messages. Je suis impressionné par votre site. Je n’avais aucune difficulté à naviguer à travers tous les onglets. J’apprécie qu’il y est un moyen de communiquer. Belle tâche.

Hi there! I have a question about what color beads I should use for this project. The back of my phone is black, and I plan on using the Chanel logo still, but should I use black beads because my phone back is black? Thanks so much!

Hi Cindy! I would use black, but you could use the clear ones from Walmart and spray paint them black 🙂
Let me know how it goes!
